Tomato Gojju

2 big tomatoes
4 tsp oil
2 red chillies
1 tsp mustard
curry leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 1/2 tsp rasam powder
salt to taste
Sugar 1/2 tsp


  • Finely chop tomatoes
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard ,when it starts crackling add curry leaves and turmeric powder
  • Add tomatoes and fry till it blends well
  • Add salt,sugar and rasam powder and cook for 5 minutes
  • Goes well with idli ,dosa or rice.
