Yellu Pudi Chitranna


INGREDIENTS:
1 cup cooked rice (cooked in cooker 1:2 ratio rice n water)
4 tsp oil
Salt to taste
chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

TO MAKE POWDER:
3 tsp sesame seeds (white til/yellu)
4 dry red chillies
little tamarind
Dry roast til and red chillies and make powder with tamarind and keep aside

FOR TEMPERING:
1 tsp mustard
1 sprig of curry leaves
3 tsp peanuts
1/2 tsp asafoetida/hing
1/2 tsp turmeric powder

PROCEDURE:

  • In a kadaiheat oil and add the tempering ingredients one by one
  • When peanuts becomes brown and crispy add the masala powder,rice ,salt and stir well
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
