Chic peas Masala





INGREDIENTS:
1 cup soaked and  boiled chic peas / kabuli chana
2 chopped onions
1 chopped tomato
1 slit green chilli
1 tsp kasuri methi
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
4 tsp oil
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
FOR THE MASALA:
In 1 tsp oil roast 1 tsp coriander seeds,1/2 tsp cumn seeds,1 clove,small piece of cinnamon
Grind the above roasted ingredients with2 tblsp grated  coconut, 1/2 onion,4 garlic cloves,a ginger piece  and 2 tsp red chilli pdr

PROCEDURE:

  • In oil saute chopped onions till pinkish colour
  • Add chopped tomatoes ,green chilli ,turmeric pdr and kasuri methi and fry for 5 mins
  • Put the masala paste and fry till raw smell goes
  • Add the boiled chana,salt to taste and 1/2 cup water and make it boil
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti
