Chilli Mushroom









INGREDIENTS:
15 nos of mushrooms
2 finely chopped onions
1 chopped tomato
2 slit green chillies
4 tsp oil
1/2 tsp chopped ginger
1/2 tsp lime juice
1/4 cup capsicum cut into cubes

FOR THE MASALA:
4-5 byadgi or kashmiri red chillies
1 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
1/2 inch ginger
5 garlic cloves
4-5 pepper corns
lil tamarind
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Grind the above ingredients into a fine paste

PROCEDURE:

  • Wash and chop mushrooms
  • In a pan heat oil and saute onions till transparent
  • Put chopped ginger and tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft
  • Add green chillies and ground masala and fry for 5 mins
  • Now put the mushrooms,salt to taste and 1/4 cup water and cook with a lid covered
  • Saute capsicum cubes in lil oil with lil salt and garnish the dish with it and add lime juice
NOTE: Try this with prawns, chicken  or paneer
