Chatpata Paneer


INGREDIENTS:
2 cups paneer/ cottage cheese cubes
1 tblsp oil
5 chopped garlic cloves
1/2 tblsp green chilli paste or chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
1 tsp chilli pdr
1 1/2 tsp coriander / daniya pdr
1 tsp pav bhaji masala
1/2 tsp kasuri methi / dry fenugreek leaves
1/2 tblsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

PROCEDURE:

  • Heat oil in a non stick kadai and saute paneer cubes with little salt till light brown colour
  • Transfer it in a bowl
  • In same kadai put chopped garlic and fry till light brown in colour
  • Add green chilli paste and saute on medium flame for few seconds
  • Add tomatoes and fry till it becomes mushy
  • Add chilli powder,coriander powder,pav bhaji masala ,kasuri methi,salt ,mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 mins. stirring once in between.
  • Add the paneer cubes ,mix well and cook for another 2-3 mins
  • Add lemon juice and mix
  • Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
