Capsi Carrot Utthappam


INGREDIENTS:
4 cups dosa rice
1 cup urad dal
1 cup poha/beaten rice
1 tsp methi/ fenugreek seeds
FOR THE TOPPING:
1/2 Cup grated carrot
1  finely chopped capsicum
2 finely chopped onion
chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking dosa

PROCEDURE:

  • Soak dal,methi and rice in water for 5-6 hrs
  • Wash and grind with washed poha into a smooth batter and keep overnight for fermentation
  • Next day add salt to taste and water if needed to adjust the consistency
  • Add salttothe topping ingredients and mix properly
  • Heat tava and make semi thick dosa and spread the topping on dosa and cook witha ld covered
  • Flip the dosa ,add 2 tsp oil and cook on both the sides
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney !!!
