Pepper Mushrooms


INGREDIENTS:
15  button  mushrooms
5 tsp oil
2 finely chopped onions
8 finely chopped garlic cloves
curry leaves
1 tsp mustard
Salt to taste
chopped coriander leaves

TO MAKE A PASTE YOU NEED:
2 Tsp oil
2 chopped onions
4 red chillies
2 tsp pepper corns
In oil fry these ingredients till onion becomes transparent and grind to a coarse paste ,adding 3 tsp soya sauce,1 tsp vinegar (no water is added)

PROCEDURE:

  • Wash and cut the mushrooms into quarters
  • In a kadai heat oil ,add mustard
  • When it starts crackling, add curry leaves,chopped garlic and fry till garlic becomes light brown colour
  • Add chopped onions and fry till they become light brown
  • Put the mushrooms,salt and cook on a high flame till they shrinks 
  • Add the ground onion paste and cook for another 5 mins
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with any rice and enjoy !!
