Dry prawns curry/Sukkale sungta phanna upkari



INGREDIENTS:
1 cup dry prawns 
3 finely chopped onions
8 tsp oil
4 tsp red chilli pdr
lil tamarind pulp
Salt to taste
3 tsp fresh grated coconut

PROCEDURE:

  • Remove the head and tail of the prawns and wash well ,changing the water 4-5 times
  • In a kadai heat oil and fry onion chopped till brown in colour
  • Add red chilli pdr and saute for 2 mins
  • Add tamarind paste,washed prawns,salt to taste,coconut gratings,1/2 cup water and cook with a lid covered till prawns are cooked
  • Serve hot with rice and dal!!
