Kele Koddel


INGREDIENTS:
1 raw banana,peeled and cut into roundels 
Salt to taste

FOR THE MASALA PASTE:-
3/4 cup fresh grated coconut
lil tamarind
4 red chillies roasted in 1/2 tsp oil
Grind the above ingredients into a fine paste 

FOR THE TEMPERING:
4 tsp oil
8 garlic cloves peeled and crushed

PROCEDURE:

  • Wash the banana roundels and boil with salt in 1 cup water
  • Add the masala paste,water if necessary and adjust the consistency according to your taste
  • Boil it for 5-10 mins 
  • In oil fry the crushed garlic cloves till brown colour and add to the boled curry 
  • Serve hot with hot rice !!!
