Beetroot Hasi


INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup  boiled and chopped beetroot
Salt to taste
Jaggery to taste(optional)
1/4 curds
FOR THE MASALA:
1/4 fresh grated coconut
1/2 green chilli and 2 tsp sesame seeds roasted in 1/2 tsp oil
Grind the above ingredients into a fine paste
FOR THE TEMPERING:
2 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
1 sprig curry leaf
1 broken red chilli

PROCEDURE:

  • Put the boiled and chopped beetroot in a bowl
  • Add the masala and curds ,once it comes to room temperature
  • Add salt and powdered jaggery according to your taste
  • Temper with the mentioned ingredents and serve chilled with rice!!
