Hariyali Prawn Tikka
INGREDIENTS:
250 gms prawns cleaned and deveined
Oil for deep frying
1/4 cup maida
2 tblsp corn flour
1 tsp pepper pdr
Salt to taste
FOR THE MARINATION:
Make a paste of
1/4 cup coriander leaves
3 -4 green chillies
1/2 inch ginger
5 garlic clovesn
1 small onion
1 clove/lavang
small cinnamon piece
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
Grind the above ingredients into a fine paste
PROCEDURE:
- Marinate the cleaned prawns with the ground green pasteand corn flour and refrigerate for 30 mins
- In a bowl take maida,salt and pepper pdr and mix well
- Heat oil,roll each prawns in maida mixture ,dust the extra maida
- Deep fry the prawns in oil on a medium flame till they are cooked
- Serve hot..
NOTE: you can also shallow fry on tava or grill this in oven with little oil !!
