Hariyali Prawn Tikka

250 gms prawns cleaned and deveined
Oil for deep frying
1/4 cup maida
2 tblsp corn flour
1 tsp pepper pdr
Salt to taste

Make a paste of 
1/4 cup coriander leaves
3 -4 green chillies
1/2 inch ginger
5 garlic clovesn 
1 small onion
1 clove/lavang
small cinnamon piece
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
Grind the above ingredients into a fine paste


  • Marinate the cleaned prawns with the ground green pasteand corn flour and refrigerate for 30 mins
  • In a bowl take maida,salt and pepper pdr and mix well
  • Heat oil,roll each prawns in maida mixture ,dust the extra maida 
  • Deep fry the prawns in oil on a medium flame till they are cooked
  • Serve hot..
NOTE:  you can also shallow fry on tava  or grill this in oven with little oil !!
