Bondi Kirpul/ Banana flower stir fry


INGREDIENTS:
1 banana flower/ banana blossom
6 tsp oil
8-10 garlic cloves crushed
3-4 broken red chillies
Salt to taste

PROCEDURE:

  • Finely chop banana flower and put in water for 10 mins
  • Drain water and put salt and mix well,keep for 30mins 
  • After 30 mins,squeeze out all the water from it and keep in a bowl
  • Heat oil in a thick bottomed kadai ,add crushed garlic and red chillies ,fry till garlic becomes brown
  • Add the chopped banana flower and cook with a lid covered till it is cooked
  • Once it is cooked open the lid and fry on a low flame till it becomes little crisp 
  • Serve hot with rice and dal !!!
