Caramel Coffee Cake

1 cup butter
2 cups maida
1.5 cups sugar powder
1 tblsp instant coffee powder
1/2 tsp cooking soda
Pinch of salt
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
3 tblsp caramel

Put 1 cup sugar in a pan and stir till it comes to burning point. once it becomes dark brown,add 3/4 cup water and boil again till it becomes thick syrup.use it when t comes to room it in the freezer.


    • Separate the egg yolks and beat the eggs well
    • Seive the flour with soda,coffee pdr  and salt twice and keep aside
    • Beat the butter and sugar powder till smooth paste
    • Add the eggs beated to the butter and sugar mixture
    • Add the flour and just fold in
    • Finally add essence,egg yolks.and caramel and mix well
    • Grease the alluminium tray and dust with little maida
    • Pour the mixture in it
    • Bake at 180 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes in preheated oven(OTG)
    • After 40 minutes check with a knife .,if it cimes out clean then the cake is baked.
