Cabbage n Green peas Thoran
2 cups finely chopped cabbage
1/2 cup green peas
1 potato cut into small cubes
4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
2 tsp urad dal
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
Pinch of hing
2-3 green chilles chopped
2 red chillies chopped
1 sprig of curry leaves
Salt to taste
3 tblsp freshly grated coconut
PROCEDURE:
- In cooker take oil,add mustard ,when it starts crackling,add curry leaves ,urad dal and fry for a second
- Add green chillies,red chillies,hing and fry for a minute
- Now add the veggies,salt to taste and 1/4 cup water,close the lid of cooker
- Cook only for 2 whistles and switch off the flame
- Once the steam is released open the lid ,add the grated coconut,mix well
- Check for the salt and serve hot with rice and dal !!!
