Pasta in White Sauce


INGREDIENTS:
1 cup pasta
2tblsp butter
1 tblsp maida
1 1/4 cup boiled and cooled milk
5 finely chopped garlic cloves
1/2 cup finely chopped red and green capsicum
1/4 cup korn kernels
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
1/2 tsp crushed pepper 
1 tsp oregano
3 tblsp grated cheese
Salt to taste

PROCEDURE:

  • Boil 3-4 cups water in a vessel ,add pasta,little salt and 1 tsp oil and cook till pasta is cooked
  • Once the pasta is cooked drain the water and keep aside
  • In a pan heat 1 tsp butter and saute garlic chopped for 2 mins
  • Add the chopped capsicum and sweet corn kernels,little salt and saute for a while and remove it on a plate
  • In the same pan put the remaining butter,add maida and saute for 2 mins, add the milk and stir continuously to avoid lumps
  • While the mixture starts thickening add the chilli flakes,crushed pepper and oregano ,mix well
  • Now add the grated cheese into the thick mixture and mix
  • Add the sauted veggies,boiled pasta and toss well
  • Check for seasoning and serve hot!!!
