Veg. Kurma


INGREDIENTS:
1 cup chopped veggies like carrot,beans,potato and green peas
4-5 tsp oil or ghee
Salt to taste
1 tsp kitchen king masala
Chopped coriander leaves

FOR THE MASALA:
In 2 tsp oil saute roughly chopped 1 onion,once it becomes transparent add 1 chopped tomato 2 garlic cloves and 1/2 inch ginger and fry for 5 mins
Once it becomes cool grind it with 1 green chilli,some chopped coriander leaves,2 tsp red chilli pdr,1/2 tsp coriander pdr ,1/2 tsp jeera pdr ,1/2 tsp turmeric pdr and 8-10 soaked cashew nuts
Make a fine paste and keep aside.

PROCEDURE:

  • Cook the veggies in cooker with 1/2 cup water and salt to taste ,for 2 whistles
  • In a pan take oil,add the masala and fry for 5 mins,add the cooked veggies ,salt to taste ,kitchen king masala and 1/2 cup water
  • Make it boil for 5 mins,check for salt
  • Add chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with phulkas,naan or pooris !!
