Jaggery Coconut Burfi


INGREDIENTS:
1 cup fresh grated coconut (take only white part)
3/4 cup jaggery
2 tsp ghee
3 tsp white sesame seeds/ til dry roasted
2 tsp cardamom powder


PROCEDURE:

  • Blend the coconut gratings without water,put it in a thick bottomed pan
  • Add the jaggeryand roasted sesame seeds  and start heating
  • Keep on stirring continuously on a medium flame ,take care the mixture doesnt turn brown
  • Once the mixtures  comes together  and becomes a maas and starts to leave the sides of the pan ,add the cardamom powder and mix well
  • Spread on a greased plate and cut into desired shape,decorate with the cashew nuts
  • Once it comes to room temperature store in an airtight container.
