Tandla Gatti /Steamed rice bhakri



INGREDIENTS:
1 cup boiled rice
3/4 cup grated coconut
Salt to taste
Banana leaf

PROCEDURE:

  • Wash and soak the rice in water for 2-3 hrs,grind with coconut into a smooth ,semi thick paste 
  • Add salt to taste and mix well
  • Wipe the banana leaf and cut into big pieces
  • Take one fistful of the batter and spread it on the leaf and slowly fold into into roll
  • Heat the idli steamer and stem it for 20 mins
  • Serve hot with chutney or butter or any pickle
