Neer dosa with jackfruit seeds curry


Neer dosa ingredients:
1 cup dosa rice
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking dosa

PROCEDURE:
  • Soak rice in water for 3-4 hrs ,wash it
  • Grind with salt adding water into a fine paste
  • Make a thin batter
  • Heat tava and make thin dosas,adding 1-2 tsp oil
  • No need to flip dosa ,as it is cooked only one side
  • No fermentation is required 
Normally grated coconut is added to this dosa while grinding. but I make it without coconut.If you want You can add 1/2 cup coconut gratings while grinding rice.

Jackfruit seeds curry:
INGREDIENTS:

1 cup jackfruit seeds cut into pieces and boiled
2 chopped onions
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp tamarind pulp
Salt to taste

PROCEDURE:


  • In a pan take oil and fry onions till light brown in colour
  • Add chilli powder and fry for 3 minutes
  • Add tamarind pulp
  • Put boiled jackfruit seeds ,salt to taste ,1/4 cup water and cook for 5 minutes 
  • Serve with hot rice and dal
