Lemon Saaru
Thanks to my FB friend Anu Nayak for this recipe!!
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup grated fresh coconut
2 green chillies
1 tsp oil
Salt to taste
Jaggery to taste
2 tsp lime juice
For tempering:
2 tsp ghee
1 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
Curry leaves
PROCEDURE:
- Cut the green chillies and fry in oil for 2-3 mins
- Grind it with coconut,salt into a fine paste
- Transfer the ground paste in a vessel ,add jaggery,lime juice and water according to your taste
- Temper with the mentioned ingredients
- Serve with rice!!
- This saaru is used without boiling !!
