Spinach Spring onion rice
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups cooked rice
1 cup chopped spinach
1 cup chopped spring onion greens
1/2 cup spring onion white parts
3 slit green chillies
1/4 cup chopped carrot
1 tsp biryani masala
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp chopped garlic
Salt to taste
5 tsp oil or ghee
corriander leaves
1 tsp lime juice
PROCEDURE:
- Cook rice in cooker with salt and cool it
- In a pan take oil or ghee and saute garlic, onion and green chillies
- Add onion, carrot and cover till it is cooked
- Put chopped spinach.spring onion and salt
- Add biryani masala , turmeric powder , rice and salt if needed
- Mix well ,add lime juice and garnish with corriander leaves
- Serve hot with raita
