Mooli Paratha with Dal fry
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup grated mooli (radish)
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 crushed green chillies or 1/2 tsp pepper or chilli powder
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
Corriander leaves
For roti:
2 cups wheat flour
Salt to taste
water
Knead the soft dough to make rotis
PROCEDURE:
- Squeeze out all the water from grated mooli
- mix chopped onion,and all masalas with it
- Make a big lemon size ball from the dough and roll it a little ,keep 3 tsp stuffing in the centre ,sprinkle pinch of salt and cover it
- Roll it into a thick roti and roast on tava with ghee or oil
- Serve hot with dal or curd and pickles
Note:dont add salt to the mixture.You have to add salt only when you roll the parathas.Because mooli will leave the water and it will be difficult for you to roll.
