Kathal ke Kofte
INGREDIENTS:
For Kofta:
1 cup Kathal/ Raw jackfruit cut into cubes (boiled n mashed)
2 small potatoes (boiled n mashed)
2 green chillies finely chopped
1/2 tsp crushed ginger and garlic
1 tblsp corn flour or bread crumbs
1/2 tsp garam masala pdr
1 tsp roasted cumin pdr
chopped coriander leaves
salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
4 tsp cornflour for outer coating
FOR THE GRAVY:
Punjabi brown onion masala
3 tsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp chilli pdr
1 tsp kasuri methi
2 tblsp curd
2 tsp fresh cream
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
PROCEDURE:
- Mix the ingredients no 1 to 9 and make equal balls / koftas
- Ro ll each koftas in corn flour and deep fry into crisp and brown colour koftas and keep aside
- In a kadai heat oil and put cumin seeds
- Add the masala paste as required
- Add chilli pdr,curd,salt to taste and little water
- Boil the gravy and add kasuri methi and fresh cream and stir well
- Add koftas and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Note:
Add koftas just 10 mins before serving.
