Avalakki Oggarane

2 cups paper avalakki/  thin poha / beaten rice
4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 tsp red chilli pdr 
1/2 tsp hing/ asafoetida pdr
1/4 cup peanuts
curry leaves
salt to taste
sugar to taste
  • To make crisp ,keep poha in MW for 2 mins
  • In a kadai make tempering using all the ingredients
  • Fry till peanuts become brown n crisp
  • Add poha,sugar,salt and tos well
  •  Store in an airtight container after it comes to room temperature
  • Enjoy with hot coffee or tea
