Kurumulaku Prawns

250 gms deveined and cleaned prawns
6 garlic cloves finely chopped
1/2 inch ginger finely chopped
2 slit green chillies
1 sprig of curry leaves
2 chopped onions
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp lime juice
5 tsp oil
Salt to taste

1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1/2 tsp lime juice
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp pepper pdr

1/2 tsp pepper or according to your taste  
1/2 tsp fennel seeds 
Coarsely grind the above ingredients and keep aside

  •   Heat oil in a kadai ,add chopped ginger and garlic
  • Saute till garlic becomes  golden brown 
  • Add slit green chillies,curry leaves and onion chopped
  • Saute till onion becomes golden brown
  • Now add Chilli pdr,coriander pdr,garam masala and prawns
  • Saute prawns well for 2 mins and cookclosed in a medium flame without adding water 
  • Once the prawns are cooked and water content is dried off ,add ground pepper and fennel pdr
  • Dry roast prawns for 3-4 mins
  • Finally squeeze lime juice and garnish with some fried curry leaves.
