Urulai Idicha Masala(Pepper Garlic Potato Fry)

This yummy recipe belongs to my FB friend Asha Radhakrishna Shenoy  !!!

15 nos of boiled baby potatoes(dont overcook )
1 tsp pepper corns
6 garlic cloves
2 sprigs of curry leaves
3 dry red chillies
3 tblsp oil
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste


  • In a pan heat 1 tsp oil and fry pepper,garlic,curry leaves,red chillies till garlic becomes light brown in colour
  • When it comes to room temperature grind it into a coarse paste without adding water
  • In a non stick pan heat remaining oil ,put turmeric pdr and ground paste and fry for a minute 
  • Add boiled ,peeled potato,salt and toss well
  • Serve hot with rice !!
