Set dosa with chutney


INGREDIENTS:
Rice 1.5 cups dosa rice
1/2 cup idli rice
1/2 cup urad dal
1/2 cup thick poha
1/2 tsp methi/ fenugreek seeds
Salt to taste
Pinch of cooking soda
Oil for cooking dosa

PROCEDURE:

  • Soak rice,dal,poha and methi seeds in water for 6-7 hrs,wash and grind to a smooth batter
  • Keep covered in a warm place for fermentation, for 8-10 hrs
  • Next day add salt,cooking soda and water if needed
  • Heat tava, and make thick dosas,serve hot with coconut chutney or saagu.
