Methi / Fenugreek leaves Sabji
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups finely chopped methi / Fenugreek leaves
4 tsp oil
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
5 finely chopped garlic cloves
2-3 finely chopped green chillies
2 finely chopped onions
3 tblsp fresh coconut gratings
2 tblsp peanuts roasted and crushed coarsely
Salt to taste
PROCEDURE:
2 cups finely chopped methi / Fenugreek leaves

PROCEDURE:
- Wash well the methi leaves and chop finely,keep aside
- Heat oil in a pan, add garlic cloves, green chillies and fry until garlic turns light brown
- Add chopped onions,turmeric pdr and saute until onions turns transparent
- Add the coconut gratings and saute for 2 mins
- Put the chopped methi leaves (drain all the water from the leaves)
- Add salt to taste,mix well and cook with a lid covered
- Once the leaves are cooked garnish with the crushed peanuts,mix well and serve hot with rice or roti
- You can also prepare this sabji without onions.
