Idli with Peanut Chutney
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup peanuts
2 tblsp chana dal / Bengal gram dal
2 tblsp urad dal
5 garlic cloves
3 red chillies
2 tblsp coconut gratings (optional)
Tamarind for taste
Salt to totast
1 tsp oil
For the tempering:
2 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
curry leaves
1 red chilli
PROCEDURE:

For the tempering:
2 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
curry leaves
1 red chilli
PROCEDURE:
- Put 1 tsp oil in a pan,roast separately peanuts, chana dal, urad dal,garlic and red chillies separately.
- Grind with coconut gratings,tamarind,salt, make a smooth paste.
- Add water to adjust the consistency, temper with the mentioned ingredients
- Serve with dosa or idli.
