Methi Gobi Paratha
1 cup grated gobi
1 boiled potato
1/2 cup finely chopped methi leaves
3 tsp oil
1 finely chopped onion
4 finely chopped garlic
2-3 finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp jeera pdr
1 tsp garam masala pdr
1/2 tsp red chilli pdr
1/2 turmeric pdr
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
FOR THE OUTER COVER:
2 cups wheat flour
Salt to taste
Water to knead the flour
Add water and salt to the flour and knead into a soft dough and keep aside ,covered .
PROCEDURE:
- Wash well the grated gobiand drain all the water (put in a strainer)
- Heat oil in a pan ,fry chopped garlic,green chillies till it becomes brown
- Add chopped onion and saute till it becomes transparent
- Add grated gobi and saute till it is cooked
- Add the chopped methi and fry for 5 mins,followed by the boiled,mashed potato
- Now drop in all the spice powders,mix well
- Finally add salt ,chopped coriander leaves and mix
- Devide the dough into small portions and make balls
- Roll each ball into a roti,keep around 3 tblsps of stuffing in the center and cover it
- Roll the paratha and cook on a medium flame adding ghee or oil
- Serve hot with pickle ,curds and chunda!!!
