Methi Palak Rice


INGREDIENTS:

2 cups cooked rice with salt to taste (in cooker )
2 sliced onions
5 tsp oil or ghee
3 tsp palak puree or finely chopped (spinach )
1/2 cup chopped methi (fenugreek leaves)
1/4 cup green peas
Make a paste of 3 green chillies ,1 tomato,4 garlic cloves and 1/2 inch ginger
Salt to taste
Corriander leaves for garnishing
1/2 tsp any biryani masala

PROCEDURE:


  • In kadai put oil ,saute onions till translucent
  • Add masala paste and fry well
  • Add palk, methi and green peas
  • Now mix in the cooked rice,biryani masala and mix well
  • Garnish with corriander leaves and serve with any raita
NOTE: WHENEVER YOU MAKE RICE IN COOKER ADD 1:2 RICE AND WATER IF IT IS SONA MASURI AND 1:1 1/2 IF IT IS BASMATI RICE
