Cabbage Tomato Rice


2 cups cooked rice(in cooker)
4-5 tsp oil
2 sliced onions
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 chopped tomatoes
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 tsp pav bhaji masala
Coriander leaves for garnishing


  • Heat a pan ,put oil and saute onions till light pink in colour
  • Add shredded cabbage ,little salt and fry for 5 minutes
  • Add chopped tomato and fry till it becomes soft
  • Put ginger garlic paste and fry 
  • Add all the spices and fry
  • Add cooked rice,salt to taste and mix well so that masala coats the rice well
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with any raita
