Murg Makhani/Butter chicken
INGREDIENTS:
5oo gms chicken
Marination:
1/4 cup hung curd
1 tsp lime juice
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
2 tblsp oil
For the gravy:
Butter 2 tblsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Green chillies chopped 4
Red chilli powder 2 tsp
Kasuri Methi 1 tsp
Cloves 2
Cinnamon 1/2 inch
Tomato puree 1/2 cup
Fresh cream1/2 cup
Coriander leaves chopped
PROCEDURE:
- Wash and clean chicken pieces and marinate with above ingredients
- Refrigerate it for minimum 1/2 an hour
- Grill it in OTG at 180 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes till it is almost done
- In a pan heat butter and put whole garam masala and fry
- Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies ,fry fr 5 minutes
- Add tomato puree and fry for 10 minutes
- Put chilli powder,kasuri methi and mix it
- Add grilled chicken pieces,salt to taste and cook for 5 minutes
- Add fresh cream and mix well
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
- Serve with rice ,roti or naan
