Aloo masaledaar


INGREDIENTS:
1 cup baby potatoes boiled and peeled (dont overcook)
3-4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard,3-4 methi / fenugreek seeds
1/2 tsp asafoetida powder
1/2 tsp amchur pdr or lime juice
Salt to taste
Make a paste of 2 tsp red chilli pdr,1/2 tsp turmeric pdr,1 tsp cumin pdr,1/2 tsp chat masala and keep aside
Chopped spring onion greens for garnishing

PROCEDURE:

  • In a non stick kadai heat oil and add mustard
  • When it starts crackling add asafoetida pdr,methi seeds 
  • now put the potatoes,salt and fry till it becomes light brown in colour
  • Now add the masala paste and toss well for 5mins
  • Finally garnish with amchur,spring onion greens and serve hot with roti or rice
