Dal Murukku


INGREDIENTS:
2 cups rice flour (measuring cup)
1 cup dariya dal powder/putani/roasted gram/hurigadale/ kadle pappu
3 tblsp butter 
2 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp sesame seeds/ til
lil hing
2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Water as required to knead the dough
Oil for deep frying

PROCEDURE:

  • In a bowl put all the dry ingredients and mix well
  • add the butter and mix
  • Put the water and knead into a soft dough and keep
  • Heat oil and deep fry into crisp golden brown murukku
  • Store in an airtight container!!
