Gobi ki Sabji


INGREDIENTS:
2 cups gobi florets
1 chopped onion
1 chopped tomato
5 chopped garlic cloves
2 slit green chillies
5 tsp oil
4-5  methi seeds
1/2 tsp asafoetida pdr
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 tsp red chilli pdr
1 tsp chole masala or any garam masala
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

PROCEDURE:

  • Put the gobi florets in salt water for 10 mins
  • Wash properly and drain water  and keep aside
  • Heat oil in a pan ,put methi,asafoetida,chopped garlic and fry for 2 mins
  • Add green chillies,chopped onion and fry till they turn into light pink colour
  • Add gobi florets ,salt and cook covered with a lid
  • when it is half cooked add chopped tomato,turmeric,chilli pdr,chole masala pdr and mix well and cook till it is done
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti ,phulka or steamed hot rice !!!
