Potato chilli Tomato Fry
Thanks to my FB friend Seema d. shenoy for the Egg chilli tomato fry recipe!! I used baby potatoes in place of egg and had it with hot phulkas..I t was awesome !! You can try with prawns, chicken, mushrooms or paneer !!
INGREDIENTS:
20 boiled baby potatoes(dont overcook )
1/2 capsicum cut into big pieces
8 tsp oil
1 onion chopped
2 tsp sp red chilli pdr
1/2 tsp peper pdr
1 tsp kitchen king masala
1 tsp daniya pdr
2 tsp soya sauce
Salt to taste
chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
MAKE A PASTE OF:
1 big tomato
2 medium onions
6 garlic cloves
PROCEDURE:
- Peel the potatoes and apply lil salt and keep aside
- In a non stick pan put 2 tsp oil and roast the capsicum with lil salt for 5 mins and keep in a bowl
- In same pan roast the potatoes till its outer cover becomes light brown,transfer in a bowl
- Put the remaining oil in the same pan and fry the chopped onions till translucent
- Add the ground paste and fry till the oil separates and the raw smell goes off
- Put the spice powders one by one,fry a little and add 1/4 cup water ,mix well
- Now put soya sauce,potato,capsicum,salt to taste and toss well
- Add chopped coriander leaves and tour potato chilli tomato fry is ready to eat
- Serve hot with roti or any rice of your choice and enjoy !!!
- If you are using eggs then add directly the boiled egg cut into pieces,no need to fry !!
