Paneer masala




INGREDIENTS:
2OO gms paneer cut into cubes
Oil 4  tsp
2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp ginger garic paste
2 sliced onions
2 chopped tomatoes
1 broken red chilli
1 tsp coriander pdr
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 tsp garam masala pdr
1 tsp honey
2 tsp flour


For marination:
2 tsp tandoori masala
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1/2 tsp coriander pdr
1/2 tsp red chilli pdr
Salt to tastes 
Marinate the paneer cubes with the above ingredients and refrigerate for 15 mins

FOR TADKA:
3 sp oil
1 onion cut into big chunks and layers  separated
1/2 capsicum cut into cubes
1/4 cup curds
Chopped coriander leaves

PROCEDURE:

  • In a pan take 4 tsp oil,add cumin seeds,when it starts crackling,add ginger garlic paste and fry
  • Put the sliced onions and saute for 5 mins, followed  by tomatoes chopped
  • Fry for 5 mins,add chilli pdr,turmeric pdr,garam masala,coriander pdr and fry for a minute
  • Add honey,flour and mix well
  • Remove from the gas and blend it once it comes to room temperature
  • In another pan take 3 tsp oil,put the onion and capsicum chunks,marinated paneer and mix well
  • Add the ground masala paste,salt to taste and curds,1/2 cup water and adjus the consistency 
  • Make it boil for 5 mins,garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  • Serve hot with pulav or rotis!!!
