Baby potato butter masala


INGREDIENTS:
10 nos baby potatoes,boiled (dont overcook the potatoes)
2 tsp oil
4 tsp butter
2 slit green chillies
2 chopped onion
1 tomato chopped
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tblsp cashew nut paste or powder
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 tsp garam masala pdr
1 tsp coriander pdr
2 tsp red chilli pdr
1/4 tsp pepper pdr
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves

PROCEDURE:

  • Peel the potatoes and roast in oil with salt till the outer cover becomes light brown
  • Remove from pan and keep aside
  • In same pan put butter ,add slit green chillies,chopped onions and fry till onion becomes transparent
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 5 mins
  • Put the tomato chopped and fry till they become mushy,followed by all the spice powders
  • Fry for a minute,add little water,boiled n roasted potatoes ,salt,cashew powder or paste and make it boil
  • Adjust the consistency according to your taste
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rotis!!
