Hariyali Makai


INGREDIENTS:
10 nos baby corns
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
3 tsp oil + 1 tsp
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 tsp Kitchen King masala/ any other garam masala
1/4 cup curds
1 tsp kasuri methi
Salt to tastChopped coriander leaves

For the green masala :
1/2 cup coriander leaves
2-3 green chillies
1/2 inch ginger piece
5 garlic cloves
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
Grind the above ingredients into a fine paste and keep aside

PROCEDURE:

  • Wash and cut the baby corn into 1 inch pieces
  • Heat i tsp oil in a pan and saute the corn pieces with little salt till it becomes tender
  • Remove the corn from the flame and keep them aside
  • In same pan put 3 tsp oil,add kasuri methi,chopped  onions and fry till it becomes light pinkish
  • Put the ground green paste and fry till the raw smell goes off
  • Add turmeric pdr,garam masala pdr and fry for a minute
  • Put the curds and mix well
  • Add the cooked corn pieces,salt to taste and water if needed and adjust the consistency according to your taste
  • Check the seasoning,garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  • Serve hot with hot phulkas !!
