Thayir Murukku


THANKS TO BHAMA NARAYANAN FOR THIS RECIPE !!

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups rice flour
3/4 cup curds/ yogurt/ thayir
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp red chilli pdr
1/2 tsp jeera / cumin seeds
1 tsp white til/ sesame seeds
Water to knead the dough
Oil for frying

PROCEDURE:

  • Take all the ingredients no 1 to no 6 in a bowl ,mix well and make a soft dough using water as needed
  • Heat oil and make chakli or murukku
  • Fry on  a medium flame
  • Store in an airtight container once it comes to room temperature!!!
