Nippattu



INGREDIENTS:
1 cup rice floor
1/4 cup maida
1/4 cup peanuts
1/4 cup putani/ roasted daliya
2 sprigs of curry leaves chopped
1.5 tsp red chilli pdr
1 tsp sesame seeds
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

PROCEDURE:

  • Slightly crush the peanuts and keep aside
  • Take a bowl and mix rice flour,maida,salt chopped curry leaves,red chilli pdr,crushed peanuts and putani 
  • Mix well and make a soft dough adding water as required
  • Heat oil, devide the dough into small portions and make balls
  • Press each balls on a greased plastic sheet and deep fry on a medium flame till brown and crisp
  • Store in an airtight container once it comes to room temperature
  • Enjy with hot cup of tea or coffee!!!
