Murg Lazeez


INGREDIENTS:
500 gms Chicken
6 tsp oil
2 slit green chillies
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tomatoes pureed
2 onions sliced
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp cumin / jeera powder
2 tblsp fresh cream
2 tblsp grated cheese
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves

FOR MARINATION:
1/2 cup curds
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder

PROCEDURE:

  • Wash and clean chicken, cut into medium sized pieces
  • Marinate with the mentioned ingredients
  • In a pan heat oil ,add green chillies chopped ,sliced onions andfry till they turn light brown
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 mins
  • Add the tomato puree and fry for 5 mins
  • Add all the spice powders,fr 1/4 cup water ,salt to taste and cook with a lid covered,till chicken becomes tender
  • Finally add grated cheese and fresh cream ,mix well and cook for 5 mins
  • Turn off the flame and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
