Butter Murku


INGREDIENTS:
1 cup rice flour
1/4 cup roasted gram  dal / putani/ hurigadale powder
1/4 cup roasted urad dal powder/ hooran or besan
2-3 tsp butter
1/2 tsp hing / asafoetida
2 tsp white til / sesame seeds
1/2 tsp red chilli pdr
2 tsp jeera / cumin seeds
Oil for deep frying

PROCEDURE:

  • Mix rice flour,salt, dal powder,hing,jeera,til,chilli pdr in a bowl
  • Add the butter and combine well. Add water and make a soft dough
  • Heat oil and make murku using murku  mould
  • Fry on a medium flame till crisp and brown
  • Once it comes to room temperature store in an airtight container
  • Enjoy with hot cup of coffee or tea.
