Majjige Saaru



INGREDIENTS:
1 cup fresh curd
4 garlic cloves
1 tblsp green chilli paste
2 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
1 sprig of curry leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 tsp jeera / cumin seeds
1 tsp sugar 
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves

PROCEDURE:

  • Put the curd in a bowl , add 1 cup water and beat well
  • Add salt, sugar and mix
  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard, when it starts crackling add curry leaves, garlic cloves and fry till garlic turns light brown
  • Add green chilli paste and fry for 2-3 mins
  • Put turmeric pdr,jeera and saute for a minute
  • Add 1/4 cup water and turn off the flame
  • Let it cool. Now add the curd to it and mix well
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with rice.
