Udupi Saaru Pudi / Rasam powder



INGREDIENTS:
2 tsp coconut oil or any cooking oil
1/4 cup coriander seeds / daniya
1/2 tsp methi seeds/ fenugreek
1 tsp jeera / cumin seeds
2 sprigs of curry leaves
25 red chillies / byadgi chillies
1/2 tsp hing / asafoetida powder

PROCEDURE:

  • Heat oil in a pan ,add coriander seeds and roast on a low flame
  • Once it turns aromatic add the remaining  ingredients one by one and roast on a low flame till it turns crisp 
  • Let it cool . Grind it into a fine powder.
  • Store the powder in an airtight container.
