Prawn Manchurian



INGREDIENTS:

1/2 kg deveined and cleaned prawns
Oil to deep fry

FOR MARINATION:

3 tbsp corn flour
2 tblsp maida
 1 tblsp rice flour,
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp soya sauce
salt to taste


FOR THE SAUCE:

5 tsp oil
8-10 finely chopped garlic 1/2 tsp chopped ginger
2 chopped green chillies
2 chopped onions
2 tsp tomato sauce
2 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp vinegar,
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/4 cup cornflour slurry (3 tsp cornflour mixed  with water)
corriander leaves for garnishing

PROCEDURE:


  • Mix the marination ingredients with water and make thick batter and coat the prawns 
  • Deep fry prawns int golden brown colour
  • In a kadai take oil and saute garlic, ginger, green chilli 
  • When it becomes brown add onions 
  • Add all spices ,sauces and vinegar 
  • Add 1/4 cup water and cornflour slurry, salt to taste and make it boil
  • When the sauce becomes thick mix in the deep fried prawns  n corriander leaves 
  • Serve hot with fried ric or noodles
