Zuchchini Phodi


1 medium size zuchchini
4 tsp rice flour + 3 tsp to roll it
8 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp asafotida powder
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying


  • In a bowl mix ingredients no.1 -5  with little water and make a paste
  • Cut the zuchchini into 1/4 inch slices and apply the masala on each slices
  • Roll the each slices in rice flour(u can also use fine rava)
  • Shallow fry it on tava with oil
  • Serve hot with rice and dal or rasam.
