Mango Baar Gojju


This is a traditional Konkani dish !! Spicy  ,tangy and sweet gojju /chutney  goes well with rice.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup fresh grated coconut
Salt to taste
Jaggery to taste
Mango baar pieces to taste
3 roasted red chillies

FOR TEMPERING:
2 tsp oil 1
1 tsp mustard
6-8 curry leaves

PROCEDURE:

  • Grind all the ingredients with little water into a fine paste( like chutney)
  • Temper with the ingredients
  • Serve with rice
Note:If the mango baar is too hard then soak and use it.
