Chana Palak
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup boiled chana (chick peas)
1 cup finely chopped palak (spinach)
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 finely chopped tomato
3 tsp oil
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
TO MAKE PASTE:
In 1 tsp oil roast lightly 3 green chillies,5 garlic cloves and 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves and grind it coarsely
PROCEDURE:
- In a pan heat oil and saute chopped onions till translucent
- Put turmeric powder,chopped tomato and cook till tomato blends well
- Add the masala and fry for a minute
- Put chopped spinach ,salt to taste and cook for 5 minutes
- Add boiled chana and cook for 5-10 mnutes and serve hot with roti
